     "Clearly we all need to recognize that we live in a very connected world today. Paradise Earth is shining a spotlight on one of the vital elements of our world - the tropical rainforests. By doing so it is helping people understand not just the importance of forests, but the importance of the natural world of which we are a part and depend on more than we realize.
     I have had the privilege to take a number of people to visit the rainforest and it has been transforming for them. Clearly there are many people who will never be able to make such a trip, so to have the opportunity to absorb the same lessons by visiting the Paradise Earth Project, we are helping them understand the importance of looking after the Earth itself."
